Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute (MOI) is a renowned hospital in Tanzania that provides super specialised services in Tanzania and neighbouring countries in the area of Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery and Traumatology. In line with their mission to improve the quality of life of our patients, MOI is organising a half Marathon at MUHAS football ground. This event is aimed at raising funds to help 100 individuals with lower limb disabilities. The Marathon comprises 5km, 10km and 21km races, and is open to runners of all skill levels.
Registration for the event is now open. Interested participants can register by paying Tshs 35,000 through control number 995730355300 (Muhimbili Orthopaedic Institute). After payment, they should send their name, T-shirt size and preferred distance through 0655 393 932. This is a great opportunity for runners to challenge themselves while contributing to a worthy cause.

We are excited to announce that interested and registered participants can collect their running kit from MOI or Mlimani City Mall starting from 23rd May 2023. Our team has ensured that the collection process will be seamless and hassle-free. We urge all participants to collect their kits on time to avoid any last-minute hassles.
Our team has left no stone unturned to make sure that the collection process is as professional as possible. The kits will be available for collection from MOI from 23rd May (from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM) and Mlimani City Mall from 25th May 2023 (From 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM). Participants can also avail of our super-specialised services at MOI, where our trained professionals will be available to assist with any queries or concerns.
