The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at MOI is one of the largest orthopedic programs in the country, recognized nationally and internationally as a leader in patient care, education, and research. The department provides care to tens of thousands of patients each year: from infants to the elderly, from the simplest orthopaedic cases to the most complex.
The faculty includes renowned surgeons practicing in the 9 major orthopaedic subspecialties: Adult Reconstructive Surgery, Sports Medicine, Spine Surgery, Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Hand Surgery, Trauma and Fracture Surgery, Orthopaedic Oncology, and Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery.
